A bath of blood
Got guns?
Although Lord of War is not directly based on any true events, the film's portrayal of arms trafficking -the illegal trafficking or smuggling of contraband weapons or ammunition (also referred to as "gunrunning")- is nonetheless real. This site not only serves as an instrument for evaluating the morality of the characters of Lord of War and the actions they take, but the whole of gunrunners and the people with whom they transact with in general.
The above title is a quote taken from the film by the character of André Baptiste, Sr., when he announces that "nothing can stop this bath of blood" (a misinterpretation of the phrase 'bloodbath'). This is all that comes from arms trafficking.
