Simeon Weisz
Simeon Weisz is another gunrunner and adversary to Yuri. Initially viewed as the best in the business, Weisz notices Yuri quickly climbing the ranks and the two end up becoming each other's biggest competition. When Yuri first approaches Weisz with a business proposal, glorifying him by saying to Vitaly, "He was selling guns before there was gunpowder," Weisz swiftly shuts him down. However, once Yuri starts making a name for himself Weisz is the one who approaches Yuri to do business. When he refuses like Weisz did to him years ago, Weisz responds by saying, "The problem with gunrunners going to war... is that there's no shortage of ammunition." This quote becomes eerily irreversible, and holds true until Simeon's death via gunshot wound to the head by André, Sr. and Yuri. Although only a minor character, Simeon seems to show even lesser moral quality than Yuri does, seeing as how he is perfect;y okay with murdering someone in cold blood. However, after seeing the life Yuri has led and the path he has clearly chosen (not to mention being directly responsible for the death of Weisz), it seems completely plausible that if evaluated further into his future, he, like Weisz, would grow to be capable of such acts of murder, and feel absolutely no remorse. These are the lives that men like this lead, and it is truly saddening to know that they are as real as you or me.
